You probably need to get the Megafile driver. I have a Supra drive and that simply placed a boot strap on the hard disk and it worked fine, I even removed the old 30MB hard disk and put a 400MB in its place and managed to get that working (eventually).
If you like you can try the software I have, it is really for the Supra range but I have noticed that it very versatile and gives you a lot of low level control of the device (this means that you need to know EVERYTHING about the drive that you are using).
