Has anyone else noticed how the AMIGA v ATARI effort, has suddenly turned into an ATARI v WINDOWS topic?
Now, before we get jumped on by the powers that be, should we not concentrate more on improving our use of the ATARI, and its systems, more than try to knock other systems down, ( or up )?
Each computer and O/S no matter what it is or does, has a lot to offer.
The Atari is no exception with the power of Magic giving the most basic ST true Multitasking that is pretty awesome, and of course there is also that other O/S .. erm, polo or something ( hehe ) and even Geneva, and then there is the massive list of very high quality software out there too that let us do ANYTHING that even the best PC can do ( Within certain limitations of course ).
So, lets concentrate on what our Ataris can do, and what we can do to improve our uses of these machines.
By all means I am not asking us to stop talking about other machines, no way, I for one wont stop when the topic comes up, but surely rather than try to knock them down, why dont we just use the features of other systems, to our advantage and use those features on the Atari?
After MicroSoft have done this from day one and look at where they are now?
Just a thought.
