Hello, i really am not sure what is a viking controller, but if your monitor has composite video in ports then itīs really easy to connect your computer to your monitor, if the composite video ports you mention in your message belong to the viking controller (wich i donīt know what it it), then it is still possible to connect your MegaST to the monitor, just follow these steps:
1) you REALLY have to know what kind of monitor you have, there are three possibilities: a) itīt a SVGA monitor --> you can use with your computer but only on ST high resolution mode; you also need a VGA cable adaptor, you can get it at www.system-solutions.co.uk/cafe
b) itīs an RGB monitor, wich is good, you can use it with your computer on both ST low resolution and ST medium resolution, and you donīt need any adaptor or driver besides the cable with the correct connections..
c) itīs a MULTISYNC monitor, wich means that youīve got a great monitor that is going to work on every resolution of your computer but needs a special cable and multisync adapter, try the above address, they sell them.
2) after certifying yourself what type of monitor you have, you MUST have the correct PIN connections of both the computer and the monitor, i can supply you with the PIN connections for the MegaST if you donīt have the manual, but i canīt help you with the PIN connections of the monitor so youīll have to find them yourself if you donīt have them...
3) After knowing what kind of monitor you have and having the right cable, you just plug in ang GO, but since youīve been very scarce on details about your equipment, this is all the help i can give you...
E-mail me for any more help, cheers:
