The Megabus specs can be found in Michael Ruge's excellent Chips'n Chips collection. However, the MegaBUS is basically just the lead-through CPU bus so it's really not hard to understand.
The VME-Bus is something totally different and cannot be mixed with the Megabus therefore i doubt an adaption is possible.
However, since the Mega STE has an 68000 as well, it could be possible to simply add a Megabus to the Mega STE.
