I never tried my GCR cart in my Falcon, but it works fine in my TT and STE (and Mega), it recognises the 68030 and has an enhanced emulated instruction set. My board is buried deep in my TT now or I'd try it in my falcon and see what happened, it should work though is all I can say (but you'll need to use ST High resolution) unless the Falcon puts the video memory in a different location.
