It might be easier to go for an STe only port, use the extra features of the STe architecture and it should be easier than trying to get it all into an STFM, you'd also be able to specify that it needed to be a 4Mb machine to run, then you put all the sound in there as samples, the STe sounds surprisingly good, the difference between it and 16-bit CD isn't as huge as some audiophiles would have you believe, but get a good audio editing package to work on the noises, Electronic Cow's Squash It is now freeware I believe, and one of the 8-bit sampling carts from HiSoft will handle the rest...I've got one somewhere if I can find it you're welcome to it (put me on the beta list :-))..
