I have a pile of the later A5 version of the magazine. Page 6, like some other publications, died a slow and not entirely painless death. Much of that was due to Les Ellingham's refusal to let go and let it die gracefully (I am aware that he had at least one offer of a merger or buy-out). Then again it was his baby and had been going for some years by then.

At its height, though, Page 6 was without doubt the best UK magazine on the market. Strangely enough the rot started when it 'merged' with Atari User. Wish it had kept the original Page 6 name though ... New Atari User never had the same ring to it to me.
