The games/software are identical and can be used on any Jaguar. It's the machines itself that is altered via jumper on the motherboard. I have bought lots of software cartridges and cd from the states without any problems at all.

The mod that Jamie refers to is setting the jumper so the machine runs under 60hz. Never tried it myself, never needed/wanted to. But have been told that if you do this you would need to use a scart lead to be run on a standard UK(pal) tv.

Some games, like Doom, need to be conected to machines of the same format - either 2 pal's or 2 non-pal system.
