I am not sure about this, but isn´t the mac supposed to read PC-discs nowadays? I haven't tried myself but it might work if you take a PC-formatted (720kb) disc which *should* be readable by both pc/mac/atari and see if your mac will accept it. If so, then it should be ok just to copy the files onto the disc for use on your atari.
The reason why I advise you to format the disc on a PC and not an Atari is that Atari never seem to have problems reading PC-formatted discs, but PC:s will sometimes (rather often) complain about atari-formatted discs. With newer Ataris the format is said to be compatible (on older ones there was some small differences in the bootsector IIRC), but my experiences with my STe tells me that so is not always the case. However, this problem can be solved by using a newer, separate formattingprogram on your STe, which can create fully compatible discs. (I know that Kobold does this, but don´t know about FCOPY) Anyone?
Anyway, good luck!
Regards,
Joakim
