I think it was in 1996 or 1997 when it was decided that printing costs were too great to continue the magazine in the format it had been. Subscriptions were falling away so Les Ellingham decided to keep things going for as long as he could by reducing it to the status of an A5 'newsletter'.
Actually, perhaps that's not being entirely fair. It had to be the most professionally produced A5 newsletter that has ever been but a couple of years later Les finally bowed to the inevitable and Page 6 was no more.
