I dont know about you, but I too had some stupid problems with getting my first CDROM to work on the STE.
What I had to do, was mix up various BOS / DOS and PRG Files from various versions of extenDOS!
I think I used the PRG from v2.3, the DOS from v2.1 and the BOS from v2.2 or somethign as utterly stupid as that???
Funnily enough, this was the only reliable solution I had on the TT too???
Anyway, what may help ( Most likely not though ) is that the CDROM is found with the Hard Disk driver perhaps?
It makes no difference on any Atari I have had, but who knows? it may do with different setups?
Also make sure you are using the right ID in the settings.
Would it help you if I EMailed you the exact config that I used on my Ataris?
Like I said, this config works on them all!
If you tell me what the CDROMs SCSI ID is, I will set it up properly for you.
