The last version of Pacifist was 0.49 beta.

Pacifist's floppy drive routines are VERY buggy and corrupt data easily. This is caused by differences in the ST BIOS and the PC BIOS routines for accessing the disk.

The best solution really is to use disk images created by MakeDisk on the PC or MSA on the ST.
