Hello Christer,
The LAN port you mention is actually a LocalTalk port. My TT030 also has one but I've haven't put it to use yet.
LocalTalk was first used on Macs and is an standard RS-422 serial port with a top speed of 230 kbs. Using Apple cables, you can hook one end into the LAN on the Falcon and the other end into a port on your PC.
The next step is finding software. I've never tried this so I'm not sure what software supports the LAN port. Perhaps someone else can shed some light on this area.
