I think i found newsie 0.94 on ftp.funet.fi but i'm not sure, i don't use it.
And a slight comment:
FTP, Telnet, SSH and News- and Mail-reading is fine on an Atari 1040 ST but webbrowsing
with a lot of tables, frames or images is not. Please bear in mind that depacking TC images like JPEG costs a lot of processing power and memory - and the 1040 ST is a bit short of both.
Webbrowsing with images off is okay as long as tables/frames don't become oversized.
