Well, it recognizes them all at boot,
and installing goes error-free, but...
The CD readers tried:
(Two) SONY CDU75S-25 (AppleCD 600i)
Matsushita CR-503-B
Matsushita CR-503-K (AppleCD 300i Plus)
(2) Matsushita CR-504-C (AppleCD 600i)
I used to use a LINK 1, but since it died,
I had to dig out another adapter from the
attic. It´s a "GE Soft SCSI-6B" from ´84...
-Could it be this adapter? I´ve never tried
it with CDs before... Anyone know anything
about "GE" adapters? Maybe this one doesn´t
support CD commands??? Though it works very
good with the harddrives & with my Syquest´s.
Would it be possible to "update" it,
for use with CDs, then? Some "patch" maybe?
