I didnt think there was any diff either?
However when you use it, after a while you do notice that there is some extras.
Most importantly is that it will now display PNG format images, its actually a bit faster too, and has better overall support of some sites that 2.5 has some issues with.
Also if you are stuck with using the German program, you can download the english RSC from ASH.
