Well said that man (although i beg to diifer that a 1-2Gb drive will make much difference, 10-20Gb maybe)!
This is exactly what i think about my atari! It is an STe4 with 2 HDs, and i have just bought a CD Drive (not fully working yet - see some of the older posts). When i get some more money (poor student) i am going to get one of as many of the atari models released as poss.
Not necesarily (sorry about poor spelling, just had a BORING lesson - brain asleep) to use, but because i can (or rather will be able to).
Ataris have always been, and will continue to be WAY better than any pentium/amd based machine (unless its running magic). I am not stupid enough to think that ataris can compete in speed, but as Alex says, its nice to have a computer that doesnt take longer to boot than you need to spend on it!
If you dont want your ataris, send them to me. The only disagreements your 'atarians who hate ataris' seem to have, is which one of us is going to give a good home to your computers!
