I see what you are getting at, but lets just say you did have the time, and the money, on what grounds can you take them to court?
If you setup your atari to use their numbers etc, then your atari would be able to use NTL surely?
I I have managed to get My TT onto BT Internet, and SupaNet, so NTL wont be that much different I would have thought?
I know a few people use NTL with Linux.
All you need for general access with BT and SupaNet is your EMail address ( in my case, its fatrakoon ) and your password, and for Email, its the POP3 thingy, so is NTL the same? I would think so!
Even if it was possible to only use Windows, then you still would have no case at all for taking them to court, because of the sad pathetic mentality of the masses today.
You still see the adverts about certain things and they all say you need a PC to do this or to do that, when we all know this is utter bull, so it will get thrown out of court before you even get the chance to put your arguement forward I would have thought!
We must also accept the fact, that Atari software just isnt up to the job when it comes to the internet.
Ok, we are ok for general sites of course we are, but as far as I am aware, the vast majority of websites these days are all totally reliant on scripting of at least soem sort or another, and what atari software is there, that does that?
What happened to the Atari port of Opera?
