I take your points & so sit here sulking.

I have tried in vain to connect to the internet via Gemulator,Sting & ntl but to no avail. I say no avail but once or twice I connected for about 30 seconds and then it disconnects. I have found an explanation as to why this is so on the Sting website in the problems section I think. It appeared to be an unresolvable problem. Basically ntl wait for some piece of information that Sting dosnt send & lol this causes a crash I think at the ntl side of things, anyway they soon get wise to this and stop you from connecting or else you could crash them loads :-).

If ntl provide software and therefore connection services only for windows & apple mac o.s then this is discrimination and byass. They should be forced to either:-

a) provide software for any platform you wish to use

b) provide only the simplest of dial up connections so that evryone can connect.

I cannot afford to pay for internet access therefore I choose the free access. The free access only provides for two o.s's therfore I am forced to use those and here in lies the problem. ntl are providing an unfair byass towards certain companies and preventing a free market. America for all its prattling about being free is subjacating the rest of the world, restricing our freedom.

but hey there again in 1997 or so Tony blair blabbed on about supporting british bussiness and then he went on about getting more people connected to the net and the services of computers and he was gonna get all these "american" computer systems and I though hey what about Amiga???????????

A successful British computer system. lol.

I am cracking up our kid there is no free world.
