Yeah I am pretty sure that the jack is fine, it has been tested with a multimeter and I am using stereo jacks. If it was the jack, moving the connector around in the socket would create noise on the signal if it came in/out of contact with the socket.

I suspect there is some sort of DSP problem. I am going to remove the jack and hardwire some connectors to the board to make sure though.
