Yes, I agree.
The number of people actually actively using this forum is not exactly mind blowing, thats true, but the number of people who in the least browse through it must surely be a hell of a lot higher... I would hope anyway?
It would be nice to know just how many active Atari users there is still out there in the big bad world.
I know perhaps 12, maybe a little more Atari users in my own village of Old Colwyn ( Pop. about 2000 ), I know in Llanrwst where I came from originally, there is possibly 40 or 50 as we had a club ( Still going strong, but as I no longer live there, I cannot get a true picture ) so there is a massive number of these "Pockets", its just a question of where? and how can we get them to be more active?
A large problem for most, is that they cannot get onto the internet with their Ataris, ok we all know this is a little bit of a lame excuse, but when you consider what you need to do such a task compared to simply putting in a CD into a PC and clicking on "GO", it does hold as a very valid arguement.
Ok, so perhaps if Anders could tell us how many users the Atari.Org Server has had in the last, say year, or 6 months or whatever, we might get an idea?
Interesting? maybe!
