There is a very simple solution to the Atari monitor problem, there is a cable available which allows the use of any VGA / SVGA P.C. monitor and works very well, it should be available to order from Maplins, or maybe an advert on the net would procure one. I would try to hang on to the STF as the build quality was usually better than some of the later models!
