Anyway, the only reason you are banging your head against a brick wall is cos of lack of understanding of networking. Its not your fault. Pre-windows computer users were also computer geeks, engineers, hackers, what-have-you. We were quite capable (and happy) living in a pre-microsoft environment. Since windows, there just arent the people out there that have the same level of understanding. ie 90% of people if you watch them sitting at a PC they lean forward towards the screen squinting their eyes, nervously gripping the mouse. The lights are on, but nobodys home. These people shouldnt be allowed near a computer. Its like letting kids play with the big red buttons at NORAD. BTW, I know you arnt one of those, im just venting again :)
I digress.
A lot of people use their ST,TT or Falcon to access the internet. mostly its dialup, and there are a few that managed to find networks adapters. I guess that they put up with the browser.
