I like anythign thats either written well, played well, if its a song, then it has to be sung well, so that leaves pretty much everythign on Top of the pissing pops out of the list then doesnt it?
What uuter bollocks pop music is, makes me want to piss on the heads of twats who say its good music, It aint good music you wankers, why do you think so few writers can come up with so much music? - its all the bastard same shyte!
Have to admit, there is a few songs I have liked though.
On to what style I like...
Well, I have tried to write my own music and at the same time, try to develop some style that is not the "norm" I suppose what I like, is sort of trance-ambient-techno, and there is very few quality tracks that I would call good, which is why I am trying to find that missing link.
Admittedly unsuccessfully, but my friends who have heard it, say its brilliant, and I have played a couple of them in various rave/dances and they have gone down perfectly ( I dont say they are mine though of course in case they dont! )
What groups then?
Frank Zappa ( No, honestly ), Pink Floyd, Tangerine Dream, Bowie, Some Rolling Stones, Pulp, REM, that sort of shyte, also plenty of older Metal/Rock such as Dio, Black Sabbath ( With Ronnie James, not Ozzy ), Rainbow, Twisted Sister, Deep Purple, and so on, and a few others like Faith No More etc, also I like Limpkin Park ( Faith No more ripoffs ) Metallica, Satanic rites, Sepultra, Slayer, SOD, MOD, Anthrax.
There are a very small number of records & tapes out there, if you manage to see anythign by these:-

Get them, they're Me & Me mates, in merignue, we actually managed a few gigs in London

Well, anythign where the singer uses a fuckin vocoder of some sorts... Remeber that stupid Cher Song .. Do you beleive in life after love or whatever the shyte was? - well, like that!
