Anti Aliasing in spectrum is excellent.

I believe, off hand as I am not home ATM, that you can drag a box around the part of the picture you want to anti alias then hit return. You should also be able to rub the mouse pointer over the picture part you wish to anti alias.

Hope this helps in the short term.
