It does indeed seem like Mirabilis recently changed
their server software, thus all v5 clients seems to
suffer from big problems these days.

ICQ protocol (now up to v7) is now a part of the AIM
protocol (OSCAR) and my guess is that clones will
will have to be updated to cope with the new situation.
