I recon the hole in my TT's case was there in the first place... Lucky the monitor goes on top.
I got mine sorted out by an Amiga overclocker... I found this site where some geezer throws standard Amiga A500s out at 24mhz, so I got in touch with him, and told him about the CaTTamaran, he was very interested in looking at it to see if it would be a viable option to get something similar so that ST's could perhaps get sorted with such a similar device ( Lets be honest, who wouldnt say no to a cheap hardware hack for their ST ) and anyway, after looking at it, he asked if he could see the board as well to get a better idea of what he could do!
I was a bit dubious here, but he was actually talking about 90mhz, and hinting about more, so I thought why not!
He got back to me after a couple of weeks saying that he had hit just over 90mhz but it was crap, and was about to kill the whole board, but he could sort it out to 72mhz no problem as long as I cooled it down properly.
Well, its running bloody fast, however, the CrazyDots card I used to have could not hack it ( I blame the CaTT, but I am not entirely sure, its probably just coincidence ) and I have now had to ditch it.
Other than that, apparently they are quite simple to sort out???
I will get you the EMail address of this guy to see if he is willing to do it again.
He only did mine cos he was impressed at an Atari was faster than 8mhz - the git.
