Hehe.. this is a bit off topic for an Atari board.. but I'll put in my 2 cents worth .. if only because this is my other big interest.
Jackie Chan vs Bruce Lee? I guess we'll never know... Bruce Lee was a WingChun Kungfu student.. a style designed to "beat other styles" by being effective, fast and quicker to learn. But we only ever saw what was done for the movies. You'd have to ask Bruces teacher Bill Cheung who's quitely famous himself and has a few academies around (HK and Oz at least).. Bruce himself said way back when that bill was better than he. Certainly in a fist on fist only encounter Bruce would probably win.. but brains also play a role... and jackie might win that one.
Its just a bit wrong to write jackie chan off... he's a well respected martial artist in his own right.. and learnt Shaolin styles at opera school although he chose his path in action comedies and the like.. it gave him a particular image. And he's performance in "Drunken Master" was his own skill from previous training. I think he's obviously an intelligent man and he's long time charitable work suggest he thinks about a few more things in life than blowing his own trumpet (He was from a very poor family). He was actually a prop in 2 of Bruce Lee's movies including the famous enter the dragon. One thing I've certainly been told is that internal styles like TaiChi and Shaolin as opposed to External or hard styles like WingChun take so long to master.. 10 years at least.. that actually by the time you do master them .. you no longer feel the need to use them. Unfortunately I don't have the talent to be able to tell you... maybe you could email jackie? :P
Also anyone familiar with the World FreeStyle Championships might be forgiven for thinking that all the Kungfu styles are inferior to a Grappler. Big Russian Grappler's have been making mince meat out of almost anyone who walks into the ring.. and having seen the performance I doubt even Bruce would have come out on top... especially when the Grappler has his big hand clasping around their neck and is pounding them senseless :P

Oh come on... not that again.
Bruce Lee was a real fighter. What he did on screen was toned down version of his real fighting skills (so as not to kill someone on set).
Jackie Chan on the otherhand, is an actor, and has always been an actor. His fighting skills in the main are Chinese Drama School moves which are designed for maximum drama impact without causing any real damage (yes people do get hurt but so do all stuntmen occasionally). He may actually be able to fight well like a real martial artist, but its not anywhere near the level Bruce Lee got to.
I do like all JC films though, the best ones to watch are the older ones which are filmed in Cantonese with English subtitles, they are even more funny...
