Which DOS are you running? Sometimes, it is due to using SpartaDOS, which loads itself into a different address of the Atari. Also, are you holding down the OPTION button during the boot process, so that your computer loads directly to DOS, or are you having to type "DOS" at the "Ready" prompt after booting to BASIC?
