That's totally right. Being an Atari user here in Argentina is very *very* difficult. I bought my 1040STfm for $150 (yes, can't believe it?) and every single addon I bought, was through ebay and the shipping costs were always very high. Why? because here in Argentina, although there was an official Atari production plant, the Ataris are like ghosts. They all dissapeared.
Now, the Amigas are a totally different story. They are everywhere, and if I want one, I could have a good for less than $100.
Dont worry, I'll stay on the Atari scene forever :) But I'm thinking on something. Some day, I'll *have* to buy a Falcon right? aprox $250 + $250 of shipping + $100 import taxes...... holly shit $600 is much money for me..... :(
