Was it on its own, or with another drive? if it was with another drive - the GEM desktop only puts on C automatically, you have to install the rest manually - if it is on its own and not working, could it be that it is not set up properly? is it atari formatted? Has it got termination? check, and see how it goes. Hope this is of some help, and that you havent thrown the drive away.

btw, i dont recall seeing a post around saying that you had a problem, did you not post one? silly you if you didnt!
