Well, I got a 1040STfm with lots of upgrades and hacks (4MB of ram on a expansion board, audio output on the backside, PC mouse installed, etc), many of them thanks for the people on this forum. I'm very happy with it, because I can do many tasks, and with 4MB of RAM, all the ST software works with no problems.
So, I must say (hey Ed Grimley!) that, if you have enough money, get a Falcon (they are very powerful). Else, get a STfm or a STE: you'll spend much funny time upgrading it, and seeing how a 8mhz machine can do some tasks faster than a 500Mhz PC :)
