IF your PC is up to it (i.e. you need a bit of power), then try the new version of Winston.

This programis still being developed and I find it stable for most things, if it does fall over then Pacifist should be able to run it. Winston must run under Windows and requires the standard ROM images.

Pacifist is able to emulate (more or less) an STE it also has Sample playback (had it working on a few things), Pascifist is quick compared to Winston (only really usful for aplications).

Winston can emulate "overscan" (border removal) which I like to see as demos and menus often do it, I beleave that the 049 beta is able to do this but I have never got it working (something about a VBE driver).
