Too true.
Think about it. What is it that hampers a hardware release the most in terms of sales?
Software. Or lack of it.
The ST range never had a lack of software. It could do anything, and it still can if you're prepared to go and make a coffee everytime you want your screen refreshed. The restriction is speed. The screen on a Falc or TT can easily do 1024x768, the same rez most PC or Mac users use. Its just not very fast. Even with the eclipse PCI with an ATI video card the screen is much faster, but the hardware still chugs along at 16mhz.
