Hm, I just donīt get it?
Why would you want to run Atari stuff on x86?
Especially when the original CPUs are better.
I donīt say you canīt, just say it isnīt meant to be.
Like haveing an Lada engine in my Scorpio ;oP

I know about USB cards, bought one once.
Of course it wouldnīt work, but at least
I got my money back... :-/

The TOSter will have integrated USB,
so no need for a card there...

In the clones, yes. In this case, what for?

I can only speak for the TOSter, and it will
certainly need no gfx or sound card, with the
hardware Iīm planning for it! The soundsystem
will probably beat most soundcards, and the
internal graphix will do perfectly ok, as is.

Think a fair comparition would be:
-like puting a 2:nd engine in your car.
Now, does it really need that? ;oP

Thereby not said that them "clones" shouldnīt
use those cards. They need that, since they
donīt have any on-board sound or gfx, like
every Atari have. They are more like a pese,
am I right or am I right?(Iīm prolly wrong..)

OK, sure we could put on some pci slots then,
but who want to patch the OS to cope with it?
And there again, what would we put IN them?

Beats me, mate.

Cheers

PS you really really want to convince me he?
