Wierd one that. I've got several so called US cartridges, that arent suppose to run on UK (pal) machines, but do?????

I wonder if the cartridges are like the Jaguar one, in that the hardware/console dictates where it can run. Which makes sense to me... All other atari programs i've got for other machines from the US works fine on UK ones.
