I also would like to know the answer to this. In clearing out 14 years of packrat accumulation, I found my son's Atari 2600 with 15 cartridges, the power supply and one joystick (I'm sure the paddles are around here somewhere.) I understand I can get parts from Radio shack if I need them to complete the set, but I have no idea how to test this, and it is covered with at least 10 years of dust, which seems would affect it's ability to work. I don't want to put a cartridge in and further damage the box. How do I both clean and test this?
