Think weīve been talking this before?
My guess is that since MagiC is an OS that
runs on top of another OS, it simply doesnīt
have all parts needed? It makes calls to MAC
OS, which passes them on to the hardware...
If we could skip that link in the chain,
we could see for the first time, how an OS
COULD behave, on some good enough hardware.
(need it BE much faster than on a 040/50MHZ?
I mean, that beats any win v. on AnY intel!)
(talking OS here, not MHZ)
Guess a good coder could fix that, and then
it would be an somewhat easy matter, doing
an adapter to use deesse in some NUBUS slot?
Could make the 68K MAC an REAL nice being! :)
BTW, MagiC for Atari is available as ROM OS?
Then, why the hell donīt they... Iīd like that!
7 or 8, ok. 9.1? What kind of MAC you have??
-Certainly not a 68K, eh? (donīt say "ppc")
MM can run jerky under emulated CPUs, yes.
Not my fault, just the way it is. ;)
Looking for an Quadra 850 now,
(video in + TV, just like this 630)
Iīll trade one of my cars for it... :oD
