Thanks for your responses! I really appreciate the help as there doesn't seem to be any single concise, complete Falcon information source out there. Perhaps it's time we build one!
Pardon me for being a total Falcon newbie.. what sort of resolutions/bit depths can I get with the stock Falcon hardware? Which ones run at a usable speed? :)
I would *love* to have a Centurbo II fitted, but the Centurbo alone costs more than I have to spend on the Falcon...aaarggh! (And that would solve my limited video options as well as memory and speed issue...)
I may stick with MagiC just for simplicity's sake. I plan on doing some audio (tracked and multitrack digital), some graphics, some plain and simple productivity... Internet access would be a bonus! I might run Bad Mood just to scare the crap out of PC users when they walk by. :)
I'm going to try and seek out some used machines that are closer by first. Wizztronics and myatari.com have some but they're insanely expensive!! Mucs, Seidel and Emmesoft don't have any advertised outright but I will send some e-mail around to check... is there any particular reason these dealers were recommended?
