>>Magic is great on TT and Sts.
>>It doesn't like my Falcon.
You have probably tried an old version of Magic then I think? - you need to either get a newer version, or run the Falcon booter, ( the 030 booter ) not the ST one. Magic ran great on my falcon once I realised this
>>Geneva is slower, but very steady, however, it doesn't have pre emptive multi tasking unless combined with Mint, which becomes unstable.
No, Geneva is very nearly as close to the speed of Magic, its 3 times faster than MultiTOS, however, while it isnt pre-emptive no, its co-operative, which means that most programs that wont run under Magic/MiNT will run quite well under Geneva ( CuBase for example runs ok - not good, just ok )
>>FreeMiNT is also a bit memory hungry, but who would care on 500MHz??
Yes, I agree...
I prefer Magic by a long way over MiNT, however, I now use GEMulator with a great MiNT setup ( Only because Magic is crap on it )
Also I would like to point out the lack of common sense in that statement too!
You say memory is not a problem with 500mhz?
Think about that one!
Its like saying that if you have a 500mhz machine that only has 1MB RAM, it will work better than a 1mhz machine with 500GB of ram for emulation - just something to laff about.
Go on, argue about Virtual RAM then. (hehe)
