LC475? Nice.
I have one here, running MM/the works.
I agree $65 is kinda overprice, but it depends
on what extras you get with it...
My had a 40MB HD, now it has 2GIG.
Itīs a superlow profile box, you cannot have
a CDROM or extra HD inside, but it has extermal SCSI.
And of course, you can always move the MOBO
into a tower box... ;)
I replaced the LC040 in my 475 with an RC040, turning it into a Quadra 475. (FPU)
It has only one slot for a 72 pin SIMM,
so I use an 32MBīer, then no need for swapfiles.
Itīs a nice and fast machine, even with a LC
processor. With an Apple monitor, you have
pretty low resolutions, but connect an SVGA
or multisync and it reaches the great resīes.
I can send the adapter scheme.
(it`s just two connectors and a piece of wire...)
Overclocking is dead easy. There are several
sites describing that, and many other trix...
