Of course it sucks! - Thats my whole point!
MiNT is immensely more powerful than Magic, but only when you have loaded it up like a bloody shotgun, but although adding the extras to it, start to make it shine, after adding too much, it starts to feel a little bloated, while Magic you can pretty much keep on adding to it, and it keeps getting better.
I will of course, admit that I do have a problem with MiNT. Its not MiNT itself, but me. I will admit that.
But I like to run 100% of what I want, with anything else I want, and I want to run them all if need be without seeing a single thing start to waver... I get this with Magic, I dont get anything like it under MiNT.
Just try comparing them to each other under various loads... My old STE with Magic was faster than the Falcon with MiNT ( Both 4MB ) when setup with as little as possible, but of course, by adding MiNTs extras, it soon took over, however, the speed was getting useless as there was no RAM left to run anything?
Do you see where my problem is there?
Whatever I keep doing wrong, Magic is at least double the speed of MiNT, more often 3 times faster, no matter what system I set it up on. Ok, NAES2 has helped cure that, but its still lagging by some way....
Yes, your Milan can run all that, but try using Magic - it will run it better ( Probably wont, but I still want to push my luck )
