Anyhow.
No, I cannot here emulators calling me at all really, no emulator will allow me to run half the stuff I need to!
Magic on anything other than ST resolutions?
Legal copies of CuBase?
Besides, I want to get this card running, so how can I connect it to the PC?

erm, read through, you will see that I have pretty much covered all the usual options.
I have just built up another cable, and I have now tested the lose wire, hang on I did tell you but the post went awol, so I will start again...
I took the covers off the connections and I saw that a red&black wire was lose. I was not too sure where it went, but on checking closer I saw that it must have been connected to the one that had a tiny bit of solder on, but it still didnt work.
I have built up another cable, but it still does not work!
Is the card knackered??? it must be!
But then why does it still do TOS programs?
its only GEM thats the problem!!
Is there some code it the program that checks for the card, and so crashes if its not there, if so, why does the program worl under GEM, and not the auto folder?
Its bloody confusing I can tell you! - the only course of action I can take, is to bin the bloody thing, but then I can guarantee that the day the binmen come and get rid of the trash, is the very same day I find the site marked
"ALBERTT PROBLEMS AND HOW TO CURE THEM"
With downloads for adapting it to run 5000% faster with 16.7 million colours etc etc etc
