Whoa! You need to calm down with this card! :-) Shane is right, it's ancient and you don't have any documentation. Now that I'm thinking more about it, I may not have ever gotten straight TOS/GEM to start on it. That may not have worked. I do seem to recall getting a lot of bombs while setting it up.
First of all, why are you building a cable? The AlberTT has a PS/2-style video output (at least I think that's what it's called). Radio Shack has a PS/2 to VGA adapter for sale ready made, so oyu can just plug in a VGA cable to it. But if you built an adapter, then I guess that's fine.
Now if TOS programs are running correctly, then you are halfway there. I can't remember if the TT's AES ran well with the card. I was using MultiTOS with the card and it wokred fine. Now if you want to run Cubase this is not an option.
Do you have Geneva? Cubase will run with this AES. And I know the AlberTT runs on this AES as I have also tried this. I would suggest this as an option. IT will give you minimal multitasking ability and rock-solid stability, probably equal if not better than the TT's standard AES. And it takes up very little memory.
Lastly, don't chuck the AlberTT. Even if you can't make it work, TT users are willing to pay top dollar for even marginally functional graphics cards.
