Oh god yes, ParcP and Paralink are definitely another option to go for!
They are fairly speedy for small stuff, but for me, with transfering hundreds of megs over ( true - its not worth bothering for just a few floppies worth ) then HD swappign is the best choice.
Apart from that, I have HotSwap bays, so, I just yank the HD out by the handle, and chuck it into the PC - the Hotswap idea does not work on Ataris by the way, I am just using the bay rather than the whole shebang.
Also if speed is not an option, then I have always found the GhostLink is possibly the best choice there, and you dont really have to worry about the cable as much as paralell cos you cn pick up the right cable for about a quid.
Can you buy the Paralink cable? I had to build mine!
