Also finding some of the other characters can also be very hard. Under Magic (and probably Mint) you can change the mappings and get hold of a UK KB, it is not 100% but works okay.
I use HDDriver a lot and that always boots in as German and I can not find a thing in there. I have heard there is a switch that will sort it out but... There is also a number of other apps.
Maybe I can make a prog to mask the Language, anyone know what the normal way of checking is? is it simply a trap or a hardware register?
