I'm not sure how you got that information from the interview, but I can assure you both me and Roger work equally hard in keeping ESNA going. Although it's true I handle the website part, we are mutually responsible for product selection, recieving payments etc. I hope this clarifies things a bit.
Furthermore, it should be stated that ESNA, just like Europe Shareware France, is a non profit store. None of us collect money off of the shareware that we sell. We have a small profit for certain commercial titles, but on several other packages we actually don't break even. Look at MagiC, for instance, in which we ship with jinnee and a whole slew of other programs. We take a loss to promote Atari usage, and we feel it is worth it.
I'm sorry if you find Europe Shareware a "shady" business, but you (not you Rob, but the original thread starter) are greatly misinformed. The France side of E.S. especially is a real asset to the Shareware community, as we have many staff members Fighting the legal system to get proper rights for shareware authors.
