Yes, you are 100% correct, you never do see MIPS, just MHZ when we all know MIPS is the important one really!

Look at the difference in speed with the Commodore 64 and Amstrad 464/6128 etc - The Amstrads were 4mhz, the C64 was only 1 yet the 64 was far faster. I think though thats an off example, because we are probably talking HIPS or even IPS or even IPMs ( hehe )

Anyway, the closest I have seen, is at the beginning of MiNT starting up, it shows up the BogoMIPS! - I suppose beggars cant be chosers, so just try to chuck the FreMiNT Kernal onto a floppy perhaps?

My TT give me 23BogoMips, I have not run it on the ST, but I know it shows up on the milan too, so I will tell you what that is the next time I chuck MiNT onto it - after XMas though!
