Of course, but you are comparing completely different architectures there though arent you?
I dont thnik there is a truly fair way to compare completely different systems that way without actually putting them head to head maybe?
Dont forget, that in the development of Quake 3, the MACs used were very low end compared to the high end PCs, and the MHZ and of course MIPS were immensely far higher than that of the mac, and yet, they had to cut the PC version down, when the mac version was still running full swing!
So, even while you say, that the PC is faster, the actual truth in that particular scenario, was totaly the reverse!
Anyway, I think what the plan here is, so that Flash could compare like for like, or to be more precise, he wants to know EXACTLY how much faster his project is, to a REAL Atari?
