You can connect your Atari ST to an SVGA monitor with a small adapter. Actually, the ST monochrome mode is a standard VGA signal.

So if you want to get a head start on your new PC system, buy an SVGA monitor that you like now and buy the PC later. And in the meantime, you can use your new monitor with your ST.

The ST->SVGA adapters can be made yourself if you can handle a soldering iron, or can be purchased from an Atari dealer such as Abrigdon Systems (Chris Crosskey), Keychange, or Atari Workshop. It should cost about UKP10.

P.S. Don't throw away your Atari Cubase! Someone WILL buy it.
